Cajun Crawfish Hut History

Cajun Crawfish Hut has been one of the City's most popular casual diner. A local landmark, it is well known in the area.

Founded in 2002 by Gus and Dona Harris on its original site at 300 E. Beach Blvd on Cleveland & Hwy 90 in Long Beach, Cajun Crawfish Hut has remained a family run business.

Cajun Crawfish Hut original location was destroyed durring Hurricane Katrina and was forced to relocate for a few years to 100 E. Railroad St in Long Beach Mississippi from August 2005 to May 2011. Durring this time, the family began making plans to rebuild in the original location - none of us could wait to see the beachfront view again!

As of May 3, 2011 Cajun Crawfish Hut staff and our customers are greatful to finally be back to the beachfront location we know and love! We are serving our customers and loving the view!
